Demi Lovato

Demetria Demetria "Demi" Lovato was born in Dallas, Texas. Her parents are Patrick Martin Lovato and Dianna Dela Garza. Demi began as a kid actor on 'Barney & Friends'. In 2007, the duo was offered the chance to appear on a brief Disney Channel show called 'As the Bell Rings,' and then they landed the starring role of the movie Camp Rock. Demi Lovato wrote three songs to be the soundtrack for Camp Rock while filming the film. She has released several singles in the years since. Lovato landed the role of Sonny with a Chance in 2009 as well as another Disney Channel program. In 2012, the two have been appointed as judges on The X Factor, a TV show that is an audition for singers as well as music writers. Lovato is a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
