Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell (born Shay Mitchell) is Shay Mitchell (born Shay Mitchell) is a Canadian actor, model and businesswoman. Her most well-known character is Emily Fields on the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo is the nickname of an avid Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fan who was a hit with her acquaintances. In her early childhood she discovered a passion for the performing arts and talked with her parents about the possibility of pursuing the field of acting. Mitchell wanted to study lessons in acting at Toronto after excelling at modeling and dancing. After landing a couple of advertisements and guest roles on television series Mitchell was able to get her breakthrough when she was chosen to play the role of Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. The show was highly praised both for her acting and by fans. Then, she made her mark on the field of cinema by starring in Dreamland as well as Mother's Day. She starred in psychological thriller series You that earned her wider recognition. In addition to acting, Shay Mitchell has also ventured into writing. She wrote an adult book titled Bliss with Michaela Blaney.
